The UMD University Career Center is seeking your help in supporting students enrolled in their 1-credit career courses through resume reviews and mock interviews! This is a wonderful opportunity to support students no matter your location! The UMD University Career Center anticipates 400+ UMD students to enroll in two of our 1-credit career courses, EDCP108i (the step-by-step process of trying to find an internship) & PSYC123 (The Psychology of Getting Hired).

For resume review volunteers, we are seeking volunteers who have a background in career services, recruiting, human resources, hiring for professional positions, or related fields where resume reviews have been conducted in the past. 
Mock interview volunteer roles are open to everyone.
All volunteers will receive preparation materials a few weeks before your scheduled shift.

There are several dates and times from September through December 2024 for volunteers to help students have these important career preparation experiences!

Please consider signing up to volunteer as a mock interviewer or resume reviewer this fall. 

The form starts with resume review dates & times and ends with mock interview dates & times. **Please note, if you sign up for date(s) and time(s) in the form, please block your calendar as we are counting on you on the list of volunteers for that day.

If you have colleagues who you think would enjoy helping UMD undergraduate students in this capacity, please feel free to share this opportunity with them!  Since resume reviews and mock interviews will be virtual, volunteers from all over the world are welcome. These great experiences wouldn't be possible without volunteers like you!
